Heute am 20. Mai ist wieder »Internationaler Museumstag«, alljährlich wird dieser Aktionstag seit 1977 durch die ICOM (International Council of Museum) organisiert. Unter dem Motto »Welt im Wandel – Museen im Wandel« feiern die Museen in Deutschland das Ereignis am 20. Mai 2012.
Every year since 1977, International Museum Day is held worldwide sometime around 18 May. The International Museum Day established in 1977 by International Council of Museums (ICOM) to encourage public awareness of the role of museums in the development of society.
